Alex goes to a hockey game

Traveling Alex got to go with us to watch the Knoxville Ice Bears (SPHL) play hockey last night. Mia let her borrow her hockey jersey to wear. There was also Weiner Dog Races during first break and Alex got to pose with one of the entries.

She wanted to have this picture taken for Lindsey who misses her
Mr. Tiny and wishes AG had made him.

Alex got to meet one of the Ice Bears' mascots, Nippy.
Nippy was in love and gave her a kiss just after this photo was taken.

Of course, Alex had to fit right in with the rest of the
fans at the hockey arena with her rally beads on.

No hockey game is complete without a little beating on the glass to irritate the players.
It was a fun night and our team won 6-2. Yeah, Ice Bears!

Alex Arrives!

We have a new traveling doll here. Alexandria (GT#3) is from Colorado and we are her first stop on a year long tour of the US. She will be with us for about 3 weeks.

She was extremely tired after her long trip from Colorado. She was in her shipping box for almost a week! So when she arrived, she unpacked her clothes and laid out her sleeping bag. There are 21 other girls that live at AGR, so she had to bunk on the floor.

Today, Alex is getting acquainted with the other girls who live here.  We're glad she has decided to visit with us. Welcome, Alex!

Spring is here!

Okay, maybe not the season, but the girl is here! Spring is our newest AG. She's a retired #20 (blond hair, gray eyes) We got her in another sweet trade from the same lady who swapped with us for Willow.

This was her on-line picture that I just couldn't refuse:
 Welcome to the family, Spring!

The Dolls' House

My sweet husband has constructed our girls a home to live in. Each 'room' is 4 feet long, by 2 feet deep and 2 feet high. That's a total of 8' x 6' of Doll House! We still need to get some interior decorating done and the attic finished, but here's a photo of how it looks in our 10'x11' den.

Skylar!

We got our first Hopscotch Hill School doll this week. Her name is Skylar. HHS is a series of four 16" tall, hard plastic, jointed dolls with books that American Girl made for the early elementary aged girl. They were only available from 2003-2006.

AGB&B Atlanta

We haven't been to the American Girl Boutique and Bistro since September, but I didn't post any pictures then.

We all had fun shopping at AGB&B Atlanta. I can't wait to go back again sometime.

Meadow at the Zoo

We took Meadow to the Knoxville Zoo for her last trip while she's here visiting us.

Here is Meadow looking out at the bears from inside a 'cave'. You can't see the bears in this picture, though, but we had a good view of them!

Here she is visiting with some flamingos in the bird sanctuary.

She got to go inside the petting area and visit with this goat. He was very friendly.

There are always fun things to see and do at the zoo!

Meadow is pretending to be a wild animal in a cage.
She's not very wild though, she's a really sweet girl.

Now Meadow has to leave today. We are very sad to see her go.
"Goodluck on the rest of your travels, Miss Meadow!", "We'll miss you!"
