Yard Sale make-over

Well, I've finally scored an American Girl doll at a local yard sale!! I was so excited to find a great condition doll at a yard sale! She actually had on her meet dress and her moccasins and was very clean. Her hair was the only trouble with her.

After soaking her hair in downey for a couple hours, I rinsed that out and saturated her hair with Son of a Gun and proceeded to pick at it with an AG hair pick. Another hour later:
