My First 18" AG

This is a relatively new venture for me...rescuing American Girl dolls.  My original intention was to rescue, restore and resell. So far none of the girls have ever left my home after their rescue. We love them all.

First is Josefina...I got her in October, 2006.  She came from California. Here she is:

I need to start with my very first AG dolls.*

I received mini-Josefina (6") as my first American Girl in January, 2003 from my loving husband.
A total surprise!

He then bought me mini-Kaya in January, 2004.

In the summer of 2005 I found an off-brand (Tolly Tots) 18" doll at a yard sale. I named her Laura Rose & made her a prairie dress & bonnet. She received American Girl Addy's boots and lunch for Christmas 2005.
